• What are eyelash extensions?

Eyelash extensions are lashes that are applied individually to the natural lash with a medical grade adhesive that is fume, latex and formaldehyde free. 

• How long do eyelash extensions last?

A full set will last as long as your natural lash cycle, which is anywhere from 4-6 weeks, depending on the individual. It is also important to note that the better you take care of your lashes, such as brushing them daily and washing them with a cleanser 2x a week, the longer they will last. It is also recommended to come in for fills. 

• How Long Does It Take To Apply Them?

Depending on the current status of your lashes and the set you will be getting, the process can take anywhere between one hour and two and half hours.

• Will Lash Extensions Damage My Natural Lashes?

No! With perfect isolation and weight eyelash extensions, they will not harm your natural lashes.  

• Can I Wear Makeup With My Lashes?

Yes! Of course! However, it is not recommended to use mascara over your lashes, especially if it is not extension safe or if it's oil-based. 

• What is the after care process for lash extensions?

Do not get your lashes wet for the first 24-48 hours. This also includes avoiding steam, swimming, showering, eye makeup remover, and tears. This is important to help with retention. Brush them daily and use a cleanser to wash them 2x a week or as needed. Do not pull at your lashes, as this will damage your natural lash.

WAX SERVICES

• Why wax?

Waxing is one of the best ways to temporarily remove unwanted hair and is more effective than shaving. Over time, hair in waxed areas regrows lighter and more sparse, or not at all. At KXL Beauty, we use hard wax for our services.

• How long does my hair need to be for wax services?

Hair needs to be a quarter inch long. Short hair is difficult to remove but more pain is associated with longer growth. If you typically shave please allow 7-10 days between shaving and waxing.

• How long will the results last?

Results will initially last between 3-6 weeks. It is recommended to schedule wax services every 4 weeks. Hair regrowth patterns are cyclical and you will notice an improvement in regard to the longevity of your results as you become regular with waxing.

• Who should not be waxed?

  • Anyone currently taking Accutain or who has taken Accutain at any time within the past 6 months.

  • Anyone who has an active Herpes outbreak

  • Anyone with a sunburn on the area to be treated

  • Anyone who has had a chemical peel over the treatment within the past 7 days

  • Anyone who has used any type of Retinol within the past 36 hours over the treatment area

  • Any area of the skin showing signs of trauma, varricose veins, open or active acne lesions, eczema, psoriasis or any type of dermatitis will not be waxed

• What is the cancellation policy for services?

 If you need to cancel and/or reschedule your appointment, please let me know 12-24 hours in advance. 
No call - no show appointments will not be able to book with me again. 

• What is the cancellation and refund policy for orders?

We do not cancel/refund orders after they are placed, in transit, or after delivered.
